Sinds 24 december 2013 zijn we eindelijk in het bezit van "Arduino". Arduino is een microcontroller die ons kan helpen bij de automatische besturing van de tank. Maar omdat we nog nooit met deze microcontroller hebben gewerkt, moeten we eerst leren werken met deze microcontroller voordat we de werkelijke schakeling kunnen realiseren. Het is de bedoeling dat we tijdens en de week na de kerstvakantie samenkomen om het systeem te leren kennen en simpele schakelingen te ontwerpen. Dan denken we vooral aan een simpele lichtsturing, motorsturing,... Eens we de 'know how' van deze microcontroller onder de knie hebben kunnen we dit toepassen op de tank.

December 24th, 2013 we are finally in the possession of “Arduino”.
Arduino is a microcontroller which can help us with operating the tank
automatically. However, since we have never worked with this microcontroller
before, we have to become familiar with it before realising the actual circuit.
We mean to gather during the Christmas holiday and the week after to get to
know the system and to design several uncomplicated circuits, i.e. mainly
uncomplicated light and engine control… Once we have mastered the ‘know how’ of
this microcontroller, we can apply all this on the tank.
